Listen, I wish Bruce the best – I know the healing power of dogs myself – and I am eager to read his book. But it is hypocritical to write a review for a book that has not yet been published.

I bought this book because I love books centered around dogs – particularly if true stories. The cover of this one is probably the best part about it. And I guess the puppy on the cover is really Ozzy (the dog) in the book. Her eyes tell a story in itself. In any case, I had a difficult time for the author, who is manic-depressive, so I think a good thing. I felt for him, but could not wait to get to the part where he actually has a dog – only half of the book. I'm glad Ozzy saved his life, but I'm not sure anyone would expire at a chemical imbalance and you get a dog. They take a lot of discipline and hard work for them (to practice both in this book), so everyone should know what they are themselves that before obtaining the necessary commitment to raising a puppy . When the dogs would memoirs, I say, Marley and Me is still my all-time fav! I'll read Merle's Door "Next".

I liked the way it was written, and found the relationship between the author and her beloved puppy true heart – you really get to know him. The highly recommended if your dog is a lover or not.
